To prepare sound database on Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development launched All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE) to collect the data from all the institutions of higher education in the country through electronic mode. Data user account is designed to provide access to general public, researchers, institutions etc. for downloading various reports on higher education data collected under AISHE since 2011-12 for all the closed surveys.
The lists of reports along with brief details are placed under survey guidelines. It also gives access to unit level data.
Below mentioned are the steps which need to be followed in order to login as a Data User or to register you as Data User.
Step1: Click on “Data User Log In” as highlighted below:
Step 2: Fill your existing email, password and verification code to access the reports if you are already registered, otherwise click on register.
Step 3: To register, fill in your details and click submit.
Step 4: After successful registration, activate your account by clicking the link “Activate My Account” received in your registered email id. A new page will open.
Step 5: Click on Activate your account then the message “Your account has been successfully activated to login” will appear on the screen.
Basic Reports
Report 1-University Report (DCF - I)
The report provides all basic details of each university. The basic details consist of Name& Address of the University with website. It also provides details regarding Area (In Acre), Year of Establishment, Location (Rural/Urban), Type of the University, Specialisation, whether Only for Girls, Number of Affiliated Colleges/ Constituent Colleges/ Recognized Centres/ Off-Campus Centres, Number of Regional Centres/ Study Centres in case of dual University, Number of Faculties/Schools, Number of Departments/ Centres, Gender-wise Number of Teachers, Gender-wise Number of Students in Regular and Distance mode, Foreign Students, Number of Staff Quarters (For Teaching Staff / Non-teaching Staff)& Number of Hostels ( Boys/ Girls/ Others) with Intake Capacity with Number of students residing.
Report 2-College Report (DCF - II)
The report provides the information about the college for the selected state. It gives the details about Name of District and College/Institution with its address and location and additional information like its Website, Area(in acres), Year of Establishment, Type -Affiliated/ Constituent/ Recognized Centres/ Off-Campus Centres, whether Autonomous or not, Name of the affiliating university and year of Affiliation, Recognising Statutory Body, Managing Authority, whether only for girls, evening college, its specialisation, Number of Departments/ Centres, Gender-Wise Number of Teachers, in Regular and Distance mode, Foreign Students, Number of Staff Quarters (For Teaching Staff / Nonteaching Staff) & Number of Hostels ( Boys/ Girls/ Others) with Intake Capacity with Number of students residing.
Report 3-Stand-Alone Institution Report (DCF - III)
The Report provides the information about the Institute for the selected State. It gives the details Name of District and Institution with its address and location and additional information like its Website, Area(in acres), Year of Establishment, Type of the Institution, Year of Recognition, Managing Authority, whether it is only for girls, GenderWise Number of Teachers, Number of Students in Regular and Distance mode, Foreign Students, Number of Staff Quarters (For Teaching Staff / Non-teaching Staff) & Number of Hostels ( Boys/ Girls/ Others) with Intake Capacity with Number of students residing.
